Gästrecension: If you want a perfect experience in Madeira, the Saccharum hotel is by far the best choice you can make. Located approximately 35 km from Funchal, in Calheta, it offers an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean and services worthy of its 5 stars. The room is very large, modern, with an enormous and very comfortable bed, and the balcony offers a superb view of the ocean. The entire hotel staff was very nice and professional. We appreciated the fact that our room was arranged twice every day, our towels were changed, and Lucy, the person who took care of our room, left us a small sweet gift on the bed every night. The breakfast is worthy of a 5-star hotel, extremely varied and with very good quality products. If we return to Madeira, Saccharum will definitely be our first choice! I warmly recommend this hotel!

Gästrecension: I came here to escape the fires on the other side of the island, and although not an ideal situation, I am so happy I found the hotel this way. Everything is gorgeous about it. And, can we talk about the fact they can make anything gluten-free for their breakfast? Waffles... Pancakes... Eggs Benedict. The views are incredible, as is the property. I was able to work from there, without any issues. And, I loved how close I was to so many beautiful hikes. The staff was so kind in finding me a room higher up, and a room to stay in longer. I was very happy and grateful at this property. I will definitely be back here.
