Avis des voyageurs: It’s right in the center of town. You don’t even have to navigate the hilly steps to and from the train station because the funicular stop is only a few steps from the hotel. The hotel is small but cozy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good size room for European standards. The room has a fridge and the drinks are replenished each day for free. Breakfast buffet was great. It has ample variety so you don’t get bored with the selection each day. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

Avis des voyageurs: The room was finished to a high standard with ample space for 3 (2 adults and a child of 14), a large bathroom and breath-taking views. We were made to feel very comfortable and the service was professional and caring. the view from the top floor breakfast area never ceased to amaze and one could while away hours sitting and sipping a coffee while taking in the vista. The breakfast selection was ample albeit that over our 6 day stay, the selection was exactly the same daily. Some variety would be welcome. This, however, is of minor significance. The location was, for us, ideal. On the lake, with a great pool and bar area and proximity to both Lugano & Como, and not far from places such as the Balcony of Italy and Bellagio,
