Guest Review: The Bivou is a wonderful getaway location tucked into the quaint Shuhe Ancient Town. The location could literally not be better. Everything from assistance with booking roundtrip airport transfer to checking in, getting settled, and exploring the area, was outstanding. I'd like to especially point out the myriad of tours and attractions that Bivou helped arrange - our hike in Tiger Leaping Gorge and visit to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain created memories that will last a life time for our family. I'd like to give a special shout out to our tour guide (arranged by Bivou) Nongbu - he was amazing and true pleasure to work with. Additionally, the food was incredible! The breakfast was super tasty and we spent at least two evenings having dinner at the hotel when we were too tired to explore the ancient town's restaurant scene.

Guest Review: Beautiful decor - Tibetan style yet not overtly religious. Still with Shangri-La’s signature scent in the lobby. Modern and comfortable rooms. Excellent location within 15mins walk to the Old Town. Service was personalised and staff were very helpful. Breakfast spread was great.
