Gæsteanmeldelse: Location is superb being 3 minutes' walk from a Metro station on Line 4 which links directly with Gare de L'est, and involves only 1 change to get to CDG airport. (A faster and cheaper way to get to the airport than a taxi, and VERY easy and safe.) There are all kinds of restaurants of different nationalities in the area plus shops and cinemas. Also the area seems very safe, and female hotel staff say they walk there alone at night without fear. The room was very comfortable indeed with the huge bed and more. There was no bidet in the bathroom despite that being listed, but other than that the bathroom was very clean and had everything we needed. The bath robes and slippers were appreciated, and the soap and other products of a good quality. The staff at this hotel are EXCEPTIONAL. When you enter the lobby after a trip out, the reception staff and bell staff all stop what they are doing to greet you. They helped us with train reservations, restaurant recommendations, ordering taxis and more ... just could not be better, honestly, and made us feel exceptionally welcome. 10/10 for the staff for sure. Best staff of all the hotels I have every stayed in, and fluently multilingual too. Breakfast was very good too with lots of choices and fresh breads, pastries, and fruits, plus the option of having the chef make an omelette to order. Really recommend this hotel for all the above reasons.
